Frequently Asked Questions...
who do you think that the best band would be made up of?
if you had to choose who would make up the best band ever who would it be.
Mine is:
Eddie Vedder- vocals- Pearl Jam
Slash- lead guitar- Guns n' Roses
Brian May- rythem guitar- Queen
Mike Dirnt- bass- Green Day
Neal Peart- drums- Rush
Answer:
Neil Peart would be a fine addition - he is indeed a fine drummer. Slash, too, is a fine musician, as is Brian May. However, Mike Dirnt is, in my opinion, not particularly talented at all, and neither is Eddie Vedder.
Slash and Brian May are good guitarists, but I think there are more creative guitarists out there. I think Muse's Matt Bellamy would make a finer addition to a band. Jimi Hendrix is a somewhat obvious choice, but I think he would be one of my first considerations as well.
As for bass, I would consider handing the duty to Muse's Chris Wolstenholme. I do not have a particular affinity for Muse; in fact, I listen to them quite rarely, but both Matt and Chris are very talented musicians. Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones is another bassist I would consider.
I think I would probably hand vocals to a Antony Hegarty from Antony and the Johnsons. His voice is truly spectacular.
While Neil Peart is a very talented drummer, and one who I would most certainly consider when making such a choice, I think I would instead have to opt for the Police's Stewart Copeland. His creativity when playing the drums is something that I consider to be unmatched by other musicians.
