Frequently Asked Questions...
Harmonica keys and recommendations?
What is the lowest key for harmonicas? I know there are keys like A, G, F, C and so forth but which one is lowest? My son is trying to play Auld Lang Syne on his Lee Oskar major diatonic "C" and he says the notes he's told to play are too high and squeaky on this one in particular for this song. He wants to learn folk songs, Beatles songs, etc. What would you best recommend?
Ah, let me rephrase that** It's not that he can't make the song work on his harmonica, it's just a bit higher pitched than he would like it to be.
Answer:
I have a Special 20 in Low F and love that thing. I also have a low D, but it's almost too low and tough to get good sound. I end up overdriving the reeds.
He'll need several different keys. Usual recommendation is C, then G, then add A and some others. The G and A will be lower. A D, E, or F will be higher, unless you get the Low D, E, or F.
Major Diatonic
minor pentatonic scale derived from major (diatonic) scale #1
Three Adwords Mistakes Not To Ignore
We all have our preferences when it comes to creating traffic, and Google Adwords is perfect for those who like ultra-fast results along with highly targeted traffic. Google bought Adwords about 2003, and they've put a ton of money for development and refinement into it so it's quite a performance platform. Learning how to use this system well can be extremely profitable for you, but it's nothing to play with and requires a serious effort. Adwords is the kind of serious advertising platform that is not hard to learn or use, but there is extremely important and specific information and user instructions, so to speak. Your very best bet for avoiding some Adwords mistakes is to take some cues from those who went before you and made those mistakes. Today, we're happy to help you avoid three types of Adwords mistakes, and that's three less to make in the PPC arena. These Adwords tips are very important when it comes to Internet marketing tips.
Many businesses, and beginners, hurt themselves by basing entire websites and marketing campaigns on poor market audience research. You'll be in a position to extract the greatest amount of profits when you understand your target market as much as you can. This is one step that should never be overlooked or done in a half-hearted way. Your keywords and phrases are included in proper market research as is knowing what your market wants. Your campaigns will never get off the ground unless your keyword research is more than adequate. You'll also need to discover the keywords your competitors are bidding on. While all of that seems like a major pain, actually it's not hard to do; and it really is worth it in the end. Google can be your friend quite often when you're doing this kind of research. While software tools are very nice to have, don't forget that it may be worth while to study the websites and blogs that belong to your competition. Google helps you by allowing your to run a keyword analysis on your competition using the tool with your Adwords account. Don't forget to do this because it will make your Adwords campaigns stronger.
While setting your preferences within the Adwords dashboard area, you'll have an option to use Google's Content Network - do not use it if you're not familiar with it. This network is actually a network of websites that have partnered with Google to display ads. Adsense traffic is variable, in our opinion, and it will not be as targeted as PPC traffic. The thing about Content Network traffic is it really tends to be less targeted, and you'll be spending money for little returns with that traffic source. You can best use your time with learning how to be competent with Adwords rather than messing around with the Content Network.
Each specific ad group really needs to have its own special landing page. This is all from the perspective of the searcher; so they searched on a particular phrase. Similarly, when they click on your ad, they want to reach a page that is exactly what they are looking for. If your landing page and PPC ad are out of sorts with each other; then do not hope or expect someone to hang around your great landing page, or site. Never send online readers to your homepage for your main, authority site. So just make landing pages that are relevant to your PPC ad group. All in all, Google AdWords can prove to be difficult if you start out with no preparation. Your best chances exist in getting a little bit educated on the subject of PPC, and really that is not hard to do at all.
